Total Project Area: 1304 m²
Designed date: 2007
Stage: Planning Permission Granted

Development to this Protected Structure will consist of a new underground swimming pool, located on the site of a previously demolished outhouse, changing rooms and associated plant rooms accessed via a new corridor in an abandoned souterrain, one of the very few surviving in the country, formerly used as a passage connecting the main house to the outbuildings. The existing ground level adjacent to the west elevation of the house is to be extended over the proposed swimming pool to form a grass and granite paved terrace. Mature trees are to be preserved with the introduction of natural lighting to the access corridor by means of rooflights demarking the route on ground level.
